Relational Somatic Healing

What would you share if you weren't afraid?

Most of us live braced. Vigilant. Managing. We keep the tender, hidden parts of ourselves out of sight, often for good reasons, and we don’t even notice how much it costs us. It’s exhausting. I know, because I lived that way for most of my life.

Hakomi and Relational Somatic Healing are gentle, mindfulness-based forms of counseling that work with the wisdom of your body, not just your mind, to create the safety needed to heal. Because our wounding usually happens in relationship, the healing must happen there too. So we slow down. We make space, the kind of space most of us were never given, for what’s been waiting to be safely received.

This isn’t about thinking your way to an answer. It’s about following your body’s lead, and discovering that the things you’ve been guarding all this time turn out to be precious.

This is for you if...

...you sense there’s something real underneath and you’re tired of holding it down. Maybe you’re moving through anxiety, depression, or burnout. Maybe you’re facing chronic illness or pain. Maybe you’ve spent your whole life being the strong one, the capable one, the one who keeps it together, and some quiet part of you is finally asking: what about me?

You just have to be willing to slow down and let your body lead.

How I Work

Hakomi Counseling

Hakomi is a gentle, mindfulness-based form of counseling. Rather than analyzing your way toward change, you get to slow down and turn toward what’s actually happening in your body in the present moment—noticing the old patterns directly, with curiosity instead of pressure. In that mindful state, the beliefs and habits formed long ago become available to feel and explore, and from there they can soften and repattern. My role is to offer a steady, caring presence and patient attention to the present moment, so your own innate wisdom can come back online. I’m not here to fix you—I’m here to be with you fully and trust in your wellness, wherever your healing unfolds.

Relational Somatic Healing

Because our wounding typically happens in relationship, the healing must also happen in relationship. So the heart of this work is the safety we build together over time—a steady, attuned presence you can lean into while the patterns formed in your earliest relationships come into the room with us. These patterns live in the body and nervous system, in how we move toward and away from closeness, and they shift not by talking about the past but by being met now, in the present, in a way that may not have been possible then. My role is to receive you fully and stay with you, helping your system take in the safety and connection it has long been reaching for—so you can bond more fully with yourself, with others, and with your own life.
